Returning gardeners can renew their plot leases beginning Monday, March 1, 2021. New applicants may register for a plot beginning Monday, March 15, 2021.
To lease a plot you will need to contact the Ewing Municipal Clerk’s Office, 609-538-7609, to schedule an appointment. In order to limit exposure time for staff and residents please print and complete the Plot Application and Gardener Guidelines we’ve provided. Fill out the forms and bring them to your appointment along with your lease fee. Plot leases are $5 per plot and residents are limited to two plots. Checks should be payable to Ewing Township and exact currency is required.
A form outlining the gardening practices during the COVID-19 pandemic is also provided. Please take the time to review them to keep yourself and other gardeners healthy.

Due to a broken tiller the township WILL NOT be able to till conventional plots for the 2017 season. We hope you will remember that the cost for a ECGA plot is nominal and that the township has been incredibly generous by providing free water, a port-a-potty, and tool loans. We recommend gardeners network with fellow gardeners and coordinate a shared rental. Tillers are available for rent from West Trenton Hardware and Home Depot.
All plots have been claimed for the 2015 gardening season!

Many thanks to everyone who came out last Saturday for the site clean up. Though it was cold, a lot was accomplished. We’ll look to connect with you all again at the gardens and at the April 15th 6:30pm meeting there.
FYI, for those in the inorganic section, the township hopes to till some time this week weather permitting.
Registration for garden plots for the 2014 gardening season is set to start in early March. Beginning Monday, March 3rd. gardeners who held plots in 2013 will be able to register for their plots at the Township Clerk’s office. Beginning Monday, March 17th, all other interested Ewing residents may sign up for plots. Initial registration is limited to 2 plots per resident. If additional plots are available after April 15th unclaimed plots may be requested.
The eastern (new) half of the garden is to be gardened following organic principles and (after this spring’s set up) is no-till. Guidelines for care and maintenance of all plots will be forthcoming once established by the ECGA and approved by the Township.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the gardens again this spring.
